Keswick Island boasts virgin tropical forest, thriving coral reef, and deep ocean passage to migrating whales and turtles. Visit at the right time, and you might be lucky enough to spot these mighty travellers. Hike year-round and wonder at 1200 year-old Cycads, 300 year old grass trees, vocal bird colonies, thriving native animals, and rich forest boroughs.

You'll find walking tracks to three of the island’s sheltered picnic beaches: Connie Bay, Arthur Bay and Basil Bay. Each walk offers its own riches. The Arthur Bay track winds through dense tropical vegetation and ancient trees. Connie Bay’s hilly climb extends to a spectacular view from North Coral Passage, and then winds through a stunning Melaleuca cluster. Basil Bay offers sweeping, golden sands, and shaded areas that make the ideal place for relaxing. If you're fit, we can guide you up the 'big hill' for some stunning panoramic photos, or you can try out the recent addition of a new walking trail to Horseshoe Bay. The Great Barrier Reef coral surrounding the island provides magnificent snorkelling and kayaking in all three bays.
