(As reviewed in

Our Island is the perfect retreat for those wanting peace and seclusion
- the perfect escape.
Situated just 32km off the tropical north Queensland city of Mackay,
in the Whitsundays, Keswick Island is a designated national park,
having a majority dedicated as natural habitat. There are five deserted,
white sandy beaches with pristine coral surrounds and a unique bush
setting - you'll wish you had escaped earlier!
The island is located 360km north of the Tropic of Capricorn, and
has an ideal, year round environment. Temperatures vary from 17°C
to 24°C in winter (water temperature is a steady 20°C),
and 24°C to 30°C in summer (water temperature is a steady
26°C).
