Welcome to Keswick Island Guest House!
(As reviewed in
Beautiful Accommodation Queensland, Australia travel guide
book, featured on
The
Great Outdoors and in the Sunday Courier Mail
"52 best short break destinations" listing).
Our Island is the perfect retreat for those wanting peace and seclusion.
It's the perfect escape from the rat race with your warm hosts,
Brian & Lyn Kinderman.
Situated just 32km off the tropical north Queensland city of Mackay,
in the Whitsundays, Keswick Island is a designated national park,
having a majority dedicated as natural habitat. There are five deserted,
white sandy beaches with pristine coral surrounds and a unique bush
setting - you'll wish you had escaped earlier!
The island is located 360km north of the Tropic of Capricorn, and
has an ideal, year round environment. Temperatures vary from 17°C
to 24°C in winter (water temperature is a steady 20°C),
and 24°C to 30°C in summer (water temperature is a steady
26°C).
